We can extend our lives and prevent heart disease and strokes .. by lowering our blood pressure, lowering our cholesterol, avoiding diabetes, keeping our weight under control, drinking in moderation, being physically fit, not smoking, lowering our stress … and other factors in our control.

* Unfortunately, there are risk factors that we cannot control .. such as our age, gender, family history, and ethnicity and sometimes it may just be inevitable.
